My Honest Reaction to the Current State of the USA
This is my own view of the situation in the U.S. explained as a story.
All the time when I watch or read news, the U.S. looks heavily crowded and full of commotion. Everyone wants to know what’s happening and many people appear discontented. It seems that issues or big drama are always coming up.
At the beginning I felt that conditions in the country must be very hard. Everything indicated that the entire nation was facing a difficult situation.
Of course after that I returned to my usual everyday life. I finished my study, spent time with relatives or friends and attended to basic things. I was living normally even though the real world seemed anything but pacified.
It appears as though there are two different situations at stake. The loud side can be found on both TV and the internet. For the other everything is calm as people get ready for their day jobs, look after their families and do ordinary things. The news features dramatic incidents since they attract more viewers.
Therefore I focus on keeping things steady. The news is a source of information for what’s ongoing. I also recall that this is not the entire picture.
What is most important is that I focus on what is happening in my own life. Similarly to others I keep up with my work, my family and my normal daily activities.
