North Korea Joins the Fight: What Their Support Means for Russia’s War in Ukraine
Russia has been in a long bloody war with Ukraine. It’s wearing them down. They need help. It was then that North Korea inserted themselves.
First it was only weapons like bullets and rockets — just basic stuff to keep Russia alive. That though got more serious soon.
By early 2025, people were even talking about the possibility of North Korean soldiers appearing in Russia near the Ukrainian border — let's say in Kursk. First it was rumor. But in April both Russia and North Korea came out and said it: “Yep, our troops are there. We’re working together.”
That set off alarms.
The U.S. didn’t hold back. Tammy Bruce, a spokesperson, said if North Korea is helping Russia fight this war then they are also responsible for the damage, the deaths, the destructions — all of it.
And there’s more. This kind of support breaks United Nations rules the U.S. says. It all crosses a line — sending troops and weapons, training together.
Bottom line: It's not just a bystander anymore. They’re in it. Things were dangerous before but now it's getting even crazier.
Tick tock.
