What do Americans know about U. S. aggression to Russian Vladivostok August 15 1918?

There was a civil war going on.

Originally the plan was to rescue Allies troops trapped in Russia after the Russian surrender.

Then the US was asked to intervene by those supporting the existing government

The intervention, which lasted from 1918 to 1920, involved the United States, Britain, France, and Japan sending troops and aid to Russia. The goal was to prevent the spread of Bolshevism and to support anti-communist White Russians.

After the Whites collapsed, the Allies withdrew their forces from Russia by 1925.
